Sunrise in the Yucatan

This image was taken shortly after sunrise and just as a storm was blowing in. The harsh foreground foliage (due partly to the HDR processing) sits in contrast to the diffuse light of the sun through the clouds of the impending storm. Through it all these palms stand guard, pointing the winds direction with their lush but waxy leaves.
