Building Top Islands

An early December trip up the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada delighted in 'clouds’ rolling in off Lake Ontario. This low-lying fog came in Northward and enveloped the lower parts of buildings as it crept. Near towers are still fully exposed while into the distance only the tops of each structure is visible, creating 'islands' of each building or smokestack in the sea of fog. The limitations of this DX lens are clearly visible with the vignetting visible in the upper corners which gives an interesting ‘fishbowl’ effect to this image.
